A machine-readable design system built from scratch. lds.* semantic tokens, a developer-built Storybook on my architecture, and a component language AI tools can work inside, unifying three products.
When I joined Sortika, users were uninstalling the app because they couldn’t understand it. I led the research and rebuilt the core flows around how real savers think about money.
Read the case study →I run the study and turn findings into shipped design changes, not decks that gather dust.
Blank canvas to launch. I own the end-to-end UX and sweat the details developers need.
Token-based, Tailwind-compatible systems in Storybook that keep teams fast and consistent.
Figma MCP, Claude, and Figma AI wired to the component library. Prototypes in hours, not weeks.
I’m a product designer in Los Angeles, and for the past six years I’ve lived in the messy middle of 0→1 products: vague problem statements in, real things people use out.
Most recently I designed the LYNX supplier intelligence platform at Eccalon, where I led design for two products, Lynx Launchpoint and Lynx Expanse, and built the design system they run on, a system structured so well that AI tools can work inside it, not around it.
I care about research that actually changes decisions, systems that make teams faster, and handoffs that don’t fall apart. I have a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from ASU, and I’m currently looking for my next role, especially in AI.
Kind words from people I’ve worked with, in their own words. You can find more on my LinkedIn.
Vandana is a very skilled and insightful UX designer who helped implement analytics dashboards to measure AI/ML marketing performance for Red Hat management. Her "can do" attitude and persistent drive allowed her to work through several challenges to get the work done. And on top of this, she is a real pleasure to work with.
I got exposure to Vandana’s work at Red Hat when she proactively reached across teams to contribute her skills to our UX Research team. She assisted with several studies on our team during her time. Vandana has a passion for UX Research and would make a fantastic addition to any UX Research team.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Vandana on a data driven persona development project. Vandana brought her expertise and incisive questions to the team, pushing us to think more critically. Her curiosity and can-do attitude enabled the project to delve deeper into user behaviors and trends.
Vandana was always willing to jump into work, even if she had never done a task before. She assisted in our research efforts by tagging and uncovering key insights from user interviews. She was also great at asking questions and "knowing what she doesn’t know". Vandana has a great attitude and is pleasant to work with.
